A beloved local tradition, the Malta Drive-In reopens for the season in mid-April. Enjoy a double feature under the stars from the comfort of your car. Bring snacks, blankets, and get ready for a fun evening out.

2. Easter Egg Hunt at Malta Community Center – April 12
A family-favorite tradition, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt brings together children and parents for a fun-filled afternoon of crafts, games, and egg hunting. Kids will receive a set of bunny ears and enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget to bring your own basket!

3. Kids Day Off Spring Break Event – April 15
Looking for an engaging spring break activity? Head to Malta Community Park for a morning of crafts, games, and a nature scavenger hunt. Kids will start under the pavilion with fun activities and then hit the trails with a guide and map to complete the scavenger adventure.

4. Live Music at Carson’s Woodside Tavern – Every Weekend
Enjoy spring evenings with great food and live entertainment at Carson’s Woodside Tavern. Located right in Malta, this lakeside favorite features local musicians every Thursday through Sunday.

5. Malta Community Garden Season & Kick-Off – Registration begins April 15th
For those looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening, the Malta Community Garden is a hidden gem. Founded in 2015, the garden brings residents together with a shared love for growing their own vegetables, herbs, and flowers. With over 50 individual 10×12 ft plots, the garden offers fertile soil, water access, and a sense of community.
Plot Registration:
- Opens April 15, 2025 for residents
- Opens May 1, 2025 for non-residents
- $20 per plot and a 4-hour volunteer commitment
- Registration and payments (cash/check) accepted at Malta Town Hall, 2540 Route 9
